Local quilt maker, collector, and longtime community supporter Peggy Dunlop has generously committed a beautiful collection of over 100 quilts and more to support the establishment of a Community Quilting Resource Center (CQRC), in partnership with Finger Lakes ReUse. 

Bid on quilts and wall hangings here to support Finger Lakes ReUse and the upcoming Community Quilting Resource Center.

There are 31 Pieces to bid on, displayed throughout Triphammer Marketplace (2255 N Triphammer Rd) and one additional quilt at the Ithaca ReUse Center (214 Elmira Rd).

How do I get started?
Before you checkout for the first time, you need to create an account for the site. Once you create an account, you can use it for future purchases.

What payment methods are accepted?
You can purchase on our website using a debit or credit card.

We additionally offer support for Paypal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

You can choose these payment methods at checkout.

I am a Super ReUser. Can I apply my 10% discount?
At the moment, we are unable to apply Super ReUser discount to purchase but it is something we are looking into.


How much is local pick-up?
Local pick-up is free! We'll send you an email when your items are ready to be picked up.

When and where can I pick-up my purchase?
Currently, all items can be picked up from the Triphammer ReUse Center (2255 N Triphammer Rd, Ithaca NY). Once you receive a confirmation email, you can pick up your items daily from 11 AM - 3 PM. Please have your order number ready. Your items will not be ready until you receive a confirmation email.

Please drive over or step on the curbside bell by the entrance of the Triphammer ReUse Center to let us know you have arrived, and be prepared to load your own vehicle with your purchases.

How do I pick-up my order?
Your order must be picked up within three days of receiving a confirmation email. If you have not contacted us regarding your order after three days, your item will be made available for purchase again and you will be issued store credit for the amount.

In an effort to keep our customers and workers safe, we cannot provide assistance for loading your purchases into a vehicle at this time. Please be sure to bring a large enough vehicle and lifting assistance if necessary, especially if purchasing larger items such as furniture or building materials.


Can I have my items shipped?
At the moment, we are not shipping items but we are trying to find ways to safely provide that service. Items purchased from our eBay store are available for shipping.


Can I have my items delivered?
Items are available for local delivery for a $50 fee per order.

Where do you deliver?
ReUse will deliver your items within Tompkins County.

How would delivery work?
After your transaction is complete, ReUse will contact you via the phone number in your account to arrange for a delivery. At the moment, we will not be bringing materials inside customer’s homes.  Deliveries will bring left in an open garage, on a front porch, or on the driveway in front of the house.  For deliveries to apartments, we will leave the item outside the apartment building. We recommend making arrangements to move your delivered items to where you want them after our workers arrive, including finding friends or family to help, particularly if you need to move items up to a different floor. If you are purchasing a large item, please double check the measurements provided in the item's description before purchasing, to ensure it can fit inside your door or room. We are busy and are trying to maintain an efficient schedule so we can be on time for every appointment – thanks in advance for working with us to make it all happen!


What is the return policy for items purchased online?
All items are sold on an "As-is" basis. Finger Lakes ReUse makes no warranties, express, or implied with respect to any item including without limitation or fitness for a particular purpose.

Clothing, shoes, computer, appliances and electronics are eligible to be returned for online store credit only within seven days of pick-up.

Computers (desktop and laptops) only can be returned for a full refund (minus a $30 restocking fee). Please note: laptop batteries are not covered by a warranty.

Returns must be returned in the condition that they were sold in - please bring your items, order number and name to the Triphammer ReUse Center during active business hours, 11 am - 3 pm.

Can I exchange an item?
We do not accept exchanges at this moment.


When will the ReUse Centers open again?
Finger Lakes ReUse values its role as a community service, with 42 living wage employees, 14 job trainees and apprentices, and more than 50 regular monthly volunteers. It has become necessary to take the painful step to furlough the majority of our workforce and we hope this will be a short term solution while we determine the methods that will ensure the safety of our workers as well as the public during the New York public health state of emergency. We expect to reopen in the coming weeks, in order to maintain access to essential goods, especially for people who are most vulnerable.

Can I request an item?
You can fill out a request on our Wish List at and we will contact you if we have the item you are looking for.

Are you accepting material donations to the ReUse Centers?
At the moment, we are not accepting donations at our ReUse Centers. You can fill out a Pick-Up Request and we will try to find a way to safely provide that service for a $40 fee.

Are there other ways to support Finger Lakes ReUse?
Throughout the closure, Finger Lakes ReUse will continue to accept financial contributions at Gift cards are a great way to support ReUse even if you don't see an item you'd like to purchase today. They are available for purchase through our Online Store under the "gift card" category.

What do my purchases help support?
All purchases directly support ReUse's community programs, keeping local resources in use and out of landfills and providing job training opportunities. These include our ReSET job training program, ReUse Materials Access Program for local people in need, Ithaca Fixers Collective volunteer repair group, and more. Find good deals and do good in the process!
